Maryam Zandi was a staff photographer for National Iranian Radio and Television from 1971 to 1983, and a first-hand witness to the revolution on the streets of Tehran that overthrew the Pahlavi dynasty, a time of joy and hope that ushered in an Islamic republic. This book has remained unpublished until now, having finally received permission to print in the 11th post-revolution administration.
