Fire, a new artist’s book by Jacob Raupach, exists as an alternative interpretation and reading of his practice, collapsing multiple projects and imagery. The Risograph process reduces the imagery, further blurring the line between constructed and found photographs. This form of reproduction has a reductive and transformative effect on the work, almost flattening the imagery, and thus offering a new perspective on labour, industry and failure.
