Sin palmeras no hay paraíso (Without palm trees, there’s no paradise) is a publication that aims to reflect on the social meaning of the palm tree as an icon of paradise, trying to explore the impact generated by the acceptance of these meanings related to the exoticization of the Canary Islands. The goal is to use the palm tree as an excuse to talk about different current problems of the islands, supported by the voices and images of various artists and writers from the islands.
