Since the beginning of the 2000's, Jacques André has developed a conceptual art practice that questions our consumption habits and our relationship to material goods and ownership. To this end, he has adopted ways of working that do not follow traditional artistic practices. One of those methods consists in repeatedly buying objects, often books or records, from second-hand shops. However, contrary to traditional collectors, his goal is not to acquire unique and rare items, but to buy all the possible copies of the same item. Published by Triangle Books (Brussels).
