Perimeter x Photobook Day Sydney

Perimeter is thrilled to be participating in the first Sydney edition of Photobook Day at the MCA, where Australia's photobook community will be under one roof for one day only, alongside the MCA’s 2014 Zine Fair this Sunday May 25 from 11am-4.30pm.

Perimeter will be presenting a selection of photobooks from leading publishers including Roma Publications (Amsterdam), Spector Books (Leipzig), Edition Patrick Frey (Zurich), The Ice Plant (Los Angeles), Hatje Cantz (Berlin), Fw: (Amsterdam) and Perimeter Editions, while also running a stand for preeminent London photobook imprint MACK, in what will be the celebrated publisher's debut showing at an Australian book fair.

The Asia-Pacific Photobook Archive has brought together the nation's leading photobook publishers and editors, alongside the leading indie and street photobook producers and makers who will be selling, showing and discussing their work including: Heavy Collective M.33 Bloom Perimeter Books MACK Pearce Press Momento Blurb

The day will also feature book signings, book launches and a free seminar on the theme of the contemporary photobook in Australia. The APPA will be present - showing around 40 books not published or distributed in Australia.

From 3pm-4.30pm a free seminar on the contemporary photobook in Australia will be held with the following participants:
